Cutesy in bold brocade prints

I completely fell in love after seeing Beyonce in Emma Cook's (sold out!!!!) Silk de Chine floral printed button down and shorts at Miami Art Basel last year, and ever since then I had been obsessing over trying to find something similar.

And so many months later (but better late than never), VOILA! ASOS created their own set.

and I love.

I so so love! It is just my luck really that bold, statement prints are also on the minds of many designers for the AW/SS2013/14 season. So many separates come in the same prints.

Runway style

Hi runway fashion lovers & DIY girls - not quite my Jeffrey Campbell post (still choosing final shots) but something I've been wanting to post since forever!

I have always had an eye for detail and a love for embellishments & inspired by both Georges Hobeika and (surprisingly...wish I had known earlier!) Alex Perry - I decided to do a little bit of DIY detailing.

Truthfully, my this isn't actually complete -I only had a spare 2 hours to do this on the weekend (!) but I did what I could and changed the look.

I can't wait until it's finished so I can share it with everyone!

ice-cream?

I kind of have to laugh when I look at this outfit. I feel like an ice-cream cone haha with orange-wafer coloured skorts & and purple flavoured...ice-cream??!

Anyhoo. Just want to say, I love these skorts because they make me feel like all girly wearing a skirt...except that I can sit cross legged without flashing anyone my undies. haha, which is perfect for spring, summer... picnic season!
